When Jordan from BIGxTOP started posting some teaser pix of his new backpack project on Instagram a few months ago I knew straight away that I had to have it. When he finally released them I was bursting at the seams to get my hands on one but due to enormous demand I’ve had to wait over two months for my one because ‘paying customers come first’, damn you paying paying customers!
Jordan must be a very tolerant fella cause I hassled him every single day for months about this bag, I’d bigged it up so much in my mind that it got to the point where I was worried that when it finally arrived I wouldn’t like it. Just imagine how chuffed I was when I saw it in the flesh for the first time and knew it was love.
Due to an excessive case of ‘the radness’ I’ve chipped one of the little bones in my wrist so I can’t ride or skate at the mo, instead I am running and going to the woods to look at wildlife with my new Barr & Stroud Series 4 binoculars (boom!). I’ve only had this bag for a couple of days but it’s already been put through it’s paces around town and well off the beaten track and it performed excellently in both cases.
I’m going to use it more before I put a full review together but here are my fave points so far…
– It’s compact and doesn’t chafe my elbows
– The craftsmanship is as good as it gets
– The pocket on the ‘lid’ is really handy
– At £100 it’s cheaper and as high quality as a Mission Workshop
